Vaccines
First of all, we are talking about the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson–Janssen vaccines , which were created to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. They have helped reduce the number of patients with severe forms of the coronavirus and reduce the number of hospitalizations and deaths. However, they have not yet been as effective in dealing with the spread of new variants of the virus, such as delta.

Another important vaccine that has made the list is the Mosquirix Malaria Vaccine against malaria, which was approved by the WHO this year after extensive clinical trials.

It took more than 30 years to create it. Its effectiveness is 30%, and Mosquirix Malaria Vaccine cannot yet guarantee complete protection against malaria, and all those vaccinated will need additional injections for a long-term effect. However, the approval of this vaccine is an important step in the fight against the disease, which kills about 400,000 people every year, 67% of whom are children under five.

Space technology
For several years now, the list of the best inventions has included projects in the field of space technology. This year, for example, the reusable New Shepard spacecraft for suborbital phone number list flights , created by Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin company, was included. The company planned to launch suborbital flights back in 2019, but the schedule was shifted due to the pandemic.

The first manned flight of travelers on a capsule launched using a reusable single-stage launch vehicle took place on July 20, 2021 — the anniversary of the landing of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon. The passengers of the New Shepard were Jeff Bezos himself, his brother Mark Bezos, 82-year-old pilot Wally Funk, and 18-year-old Oliver Damen from the Netherlands.
