The Google Tag Manager – isn’t that Analytics?
What exactly is Google Tag Manager? Author Michael Janssen addresses this question first. Many people equate Google Tag Manager (GTM for short) with the Google Analytics code snippet – and they're wrong.

The Google Tag Manager is a free system for creating, embedding, merging tunisia cell phone number list and managing tags to collect online marketing data for various analysis tools.Google Tag Manager simplifies the creation and implementation of tags, which consist of source code (e.g., HTML or JavaScript) and typically require web developers to create and embed them. This allows for customized tracking to be implemented quickly and with significantly reduced dependence on web developers.

At the same time, the Google Tag Manager displays all tags implemented on a website and their status, thus providing a better overview.

What is Google Tag Manager not?
Google Tag Manager is not an analytics tool. It does not evaluate the collected data, but rather forwards it to the respective analytics tool linked to the Tag Manager.
